Paul Birch FC were defeated in a friendly 1-0 to Orchard.

In a good tempered but well fought game against two determined teams, the match was close and looked like it was going to be a draw. But, froma corner in the last couple of minutes of the game, an Orchard player made a fine run into the box and rose to put the ball into the net.

PB manager Steve Birch can be pleased with the game overall using 6 trialists and all impressing. All eyes will now be on next weeks home game against Valley Valliants.
